30/10/2009 - NEW BEBO SITE UP AND RUNNING

Check out the new bebo site that has been created at:

http://www.bebo.com/Profile.jsp?MemberId=10092689849

I think that messaging and contacting each other through bebo is easier than the guestbook format in this website at present as its quicker and a lot easier to access, so make good use of it.

26/09/2009 - Frazer Trophy 1st Round, Kilsyth COG 5 - Greenview 1

Well done to all linked with Kilsyth COG players and supporters, thats was a super win for us today started off really not looking up for it at all though in the 2nd half we showed our true colours to come back from a goal down to win 5-1, unreal and really good show, real strength and fight showed.

Very happy manager and coaching staff ( 2nd round look out here come the mighty COG !!!! )

23/09/2009 - Christmas Night Out

I don't know if this happens every year or not since I only joined in March but is anyone up for organising a Christmas night out, good wee booze up is always good for team bonding and morale....'the team that drinks together wins together' and all that :-)

Or post in the guestbook any suggestions you might have about places we could go too, better to start organising summit just now than leave it too late...

20/09/2009 - Kilsyth C.O.G starting our run in the Frazer Trophy

This coming saturday we are in the 1st round of the frazer trophy playing at home, i managed to get the sportsfield again, on the grass as i think thats important we play as many of our home games there as long as i can get the park.

We never did well last year in this cup and i was a bit gutted due to a lot of our players not there for what ever reason, it will be great to get a win and move into the next round though i am sure that Greenview will not be a walk over coming from the 1st division.

We have what it takes to beat any team on our day and when we have a strong squad and everyone up for it, yesterday was really great and everyone that was watching said how good we were and no bad words or fighting just doing what we do best made us as a team a real joy to watch with great football.

We owe it to each other and our fans to go win this frazer trophy and saturday is time to make good memories and history.

COME ON THE COG !!!!!!!

17/09/2009 - Injury News

James Kilbride has been ruled out for several weeks with damaged ankle ligaments.

However, with Rufus looking so prolific in training in recent weeks fans of the C.O.G may see this as an opportunity for him to step up to the plate and stake his claim for a regular starting spot.

16/09/2009 - Team Photo / Church Painting

As you can probably all see from the home page we need to be taking a new team photo, sporting the new kit and giving people a better idea of the ugly mugs that play for the C.O.G

I think Colin and Rab would prefer this to happen next Saturday (26th), the day of the cup game rather than this Saturday as I beleive some players cant make it this week due to other commitments, and I'm sure you would agree we should have as much of the team in the picture as possible!

Also, Colin mentioned at training last night it would be good if some players could donate some time this Saturday afternoon (19th) to help with the paintwork being carried out on the church just now and for anyone interested to let him know so he can arrange paintbrushes etc.

Cheers

02/09/2008 - Return
Saturday welcomed the long awaited return to James "The Rock" Rollo, the 20 yr old had been out injured for over a year and made his first league appearance. Rollo looks to recapture the form he showed in the 2006/2007 season.
